Reading & District Dolls House Club

Christine recently took over leadership of the club when Karen planned to move out of the area.
(Karen's not moving out of the area now, but that's a different story)
With members' permission, Christine plans to show past and present projects created by club members.

Needle Felting
Workshop by Janet, one of our talented members
Took place Saturday 18th July 2009
This was my first ever attempt at needle felting, and took all day (10am-4pm) to make "Teddy", whom I finished at home.
He looked a bit sad, so I needle felted him his very own ball.

Teddy is 3" seated, his ball is 1" diameter.
His eyes are 4mm black glass and his nose is made from black Fimo and varnished.

Those who know me know I never do anything the easy way so yes, I started working on a 1/12th scale teddy right after finishing this one.
(Update: The 1/12th teddy didn't come up to my expectations, so no pictures until I make another one)
